NightSun

Night Sun performs original songs with acoustic music inspired by traditions of Celtic, Cajun, Bluegrass and Klezmer. Originally formed in Iqaluit in 1991, Ellen (singer-songwriter) and Chris (multi-instrumentalist) moved ‘south’ to Kingston, Ontario in 1994 and reformed the band which toured across North America for over 20 years, winning songwriting awards and described by Billboard Magazine in 1997 as one of Canada’s best folk bands. Following a further hiatus of 25 years, the band has gathered once again, invigorated and ready to go with new music while recalling fan favourites!

RaspberryJan

JUNO-nominated children's artist Gary Rasberry and accordionist extraordinaire Jan LeClair form the musical duo RasberryJan. Although they have collaborated on musical projects and performed together for over 2 decades, RasberryJan launches a new and creative chapter for this duo, whose work brings artistry and education together, in the spirit of innovation and exploration. Jan and Gary live in the world as both artists and educators. They perform songs with appealing and witty lyrics supported by creative accompaniments on accordion and guitar and the occasional typewriter!
